Got Multiple Blogs?

No Problem! Here’s a simple system I use to set up multiple WordPress Blogs using WPAffPro:

1) Make sure your WPAffPro plugin folder is located in a folder of your hard drive where you can easily find it. Installation is really simple and installation videos are provided when you purchase the product.

2) Optional but highly recommended step: Use a URL redirect program that allows you to easily change the destination URL of the redirect link. For example, I use GoTryThis. This tool allows you to promote a cloaked URL (such as www.mydomainname.com/recommends/bestdogtrainingproduct) and change the destination of the redirect (for example, if you decide to promote a different dog training product) from a single control panel location, saving you the time and hassle of having to find every instance of the affiliate URL in every installation of WPAffPro you have made in all of your blogs.

3) Create a master spreadsheet with 4 column headings:

• Keyword
• Category
• Status Bar Text
• Affiliate Link

Fill in each column of the spreadsheet, adding one new affiliate program for each row. I added over 200 affiliate links in a couple of hours when I first downloaded the plugin.

When you have finished adding all of your affiliate programs to the list, simply sort the spreadsheet using the “Category” heading, then visit each of your blogs and configure the plugin quickly by simply copying and pasting the information from your spreadsheet. By keeping everything organized in one master file, you can continue adding new affiliate links to the list as time goes on. Remember to back up the file and you’ll be able to quickly reconfigure your blogs should anything happen.

Hopefully in a future version of the plugin you will be able to configure multiple blogs in a faster and more automatic way than the method I’ve just described here, but for now this is the most efficient way I have found.
